9.2 ASIC choices update 2nd November

0. Introduction
Although the initial reason for the first ASIC choices post was to show miners some of the calculations that could be used to help determine which ASIC would be the right choice for their mining environment, most attention was focussed on the charts I used to illustrate the calculations. I'm kicking myself for not having used fake ASIC names and specifications but having used real devices I have a responsibility to ensure the specifications used are as correct as consensus opinion make them.

This post is just such an update. All the instructional information remains in the first ASIC choices post.

I will post updates every week or two as updated specifications are published. Any manufacturer who would like to keep me in the loop can pm me at the bitcointalk.org forums.

1. Device specifications

2. The charts

Chart 1: Profitable mining limits as a function of exchange rate and mining Difficulty.
Chart 2: Profitable mining duration as a function of exchange rate and time since purchase.

Chart 3: Days of mining to break even as a function of exchange rate at break even point, facetted for electricity cost and mining Difficulty at time of purchase.
Chart 4: Net profit in first year as a function of exchange rate at one year, facetted for electricity cost and mining Difficulty at time of purchase.
